We are very happy to announce that three members of the REVICTO team will be presenting their papers at the international conference (E)motion in Changing Worlds, which will be held in Thessaloniki (3-5 November 2023). The conference is organized by the Department of English Literature of the School of English at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in collaboration with the Hellenic Association for the Study of English (HASE).

Efterpi Mitsi will present her paper on “Victorian Travelers, Greek Hotels and Uneasy Hospitalities”,
Konstantina Georganta on the “Greek Zingari in London and Modern Greeks in the 1886 British Press”,
Chryssa Marinou on “Cruising with Thackeray, Twain, and Wharton: Nineteenth-Century Representations of Greece by Travelling Authors”.

All three papers form part of the panel “On Greek Travel and Victorian Mobilities” (panel 6, Friday 3 November). You may browse the program of the conference here.
