We are very pleased to announce that two REVICTO members will participate at Borders and Crossings 2023, an interdisciplinary conference on travel writing.

Professor Efterpi Mitsi will give a keynote lecture entitled “Unfashionable Women Travellers and Nineteenth-century Greek Fashions.”
Mathilde Pyrli will present her paper “‘What Says the Villain?’ British Travellers Representing Brigandage in Nineteenth-Century Greece (1840-1900).”

This year’s Borders and Crossings conference is held at the University of Lodz (5-7 July 2023) and is organised by Dr hab. Joanna Kruczkowska (Associate Professor at the University of Lodz) and Ross Cameron (University of Glasgow).
